Follow the progress of the Loafing Pilgrim – an Anglican priest from Herefordshire – as he trains for and walks the Via Francigena. This route, the ancient pilgrimage route from Canterbury to Rome, weaves and wends its way through Kent, France, Switzerland and Italy. Our pilgrim hopes to walk the first 650 miles to the Grand St Bernard Pass in spring 2024 and finish the walk in subsequent years. Read about the highs and lows, the personal discoveries and musings of this Loafing Pilgrim.
